BY DECREE OF THE VOXEN INFORMATION SUBCOMMITTEE

THE FOLLOWING HAS BEEN TRANSLATED FROM ITS NATIVE THORNI LANGUAGE TO YOUR NATIVE TONGUE ON BEHALF OF THE VOXEN DARKNESS

TRI-001

Item #: 001 Level: Unrestricted to USERS
Object Class: Prime Accessible

Device

Ancient component portion of Thorian Reach Item - 001- b, a Beacon. This was within Kitsuni’s possession upon traversal from REALM-X

FORM

TRI-001 is the lifeblood of our current civilization. TRI-001 should be, and shall be protected at all costs.

TRI-001 is the unique manifestation of a techno-thaumaturgic event wherein, a USER will use TRI-001-a, TRI-001-b, and TRI-001-c in tandem to produce TRI-001-d for use in planetary, inter-planetary, and inner-universal translocation and traversal.

TRI-001-a is any liminal threshold, a space between any two spatial disparities measuring enough to assume more than 78% of the travelers total dimensional mass. These thresholds must contain a 3 by 2 dimensional structure to operate. TRI-001-a-i is the secondary threshold wherein a USER will manifest.

TRI-001-b is connected to, but ultimately unrelated to a series of TR-VDC launched satellites, employed in the designation and documentation of all star systems in the Relative Galactic System. These Items are known as Beacons. Beacons assist with mitigating the travel of the USER through TRI-001-d.

TRI-001-c is the local USER based-systemic apparatus upon which the desired destination observed by TRI-001-b the USER seeks to traverse to.

TRI-001-d is an entropic and intrinsic link, at the universal level, between two distinct points consisting of TRI-001-a, TRI-001-b, TRI-001-c, working thaumaturgically in tandem, resulting a superior-value quantum-tunnel bridge between the two points. TRI-001-d is colloquially known as “The GATEWAY”.

TRI-001-e is the traversal medium formed between these two points, often referred to the “GATEWAY-Beam” or “BEAM”.

FUNCTION

Practically any being capable of significant thaumaturgy, or enough energy through subversive scientific minutiae concerning appropriate TRI-001 items, can and shall be able to produce the applicable TRI-001 effect, also known as the “GATEWAY METHOD”. It is for this reason, in the name of civilization control and stabilization, those deemed to be able to control the TRI-001 effect without proper authorization shall be sought and appropriately dealt with by authorization of the VDC administrative penal system. This includes early Navigator training programs for Loyalists, to reeducation colonies and erasure programs for Aberrants.

With sufficient authorization, an individual or group, henceforth known as the USER, looking to traverse any planetary/stellar/interstellar medium shall note within their local vicinity the corresponding coordinates for their desired location into TRI-001-c while within a space containing sufficient thaumaturgical energy represented by the satisfaction of the TRI-001-a descriptor. This location is known as TRI-001-a-1

The USER will then use local TRI-001-b Beacon technology to coordinate their desired location, known as TRI-001-a-2.

Once the KEYPHRASE is spoken or activated, the USER will be moved from TRI-001-a-1 to the defined TRI-001-a-2 point by way of the BEAM. Once this KEYPHRASE is spoken or input, there is no way to reverse the GATEWAY or BEAM movement.

Only after full transversal of a USER, using the GATEWAY METHOD, shall the intrinsic BEAM / GATEWAY be shut down and be rendered un-operational until next use.

FACTS

The GATEWAY METHOD or TRI-001 was originally discovered by Yetcheyn Jocob, the Second Prime Scientific Magistrate to His Lord and Nephew, Jocob Jocob, House of Assuming Master.

Upon Lord Jocob’s ascension to the Voxen Imperial Throne, circa ~1300BGM1, withstanding a few short planetary examples of the GATEWAY-METHOD used in high court, the practice was ultimately lost to time.

In ~780BGM, following the overthrow of the Jocobian bloodline by way of planetary upheaval2, one example of the GATEWAY-METHOD was performed successfully, although accidentally by the Later Jester of Fallen House Jocob, thus inciting the populous to see how interconnected they were by the former House of Jocob. This led to several years of unrest. Upon discovery of the GATEWAY-METHOD use by the Later Jester Jocob, he was deemed a heretic by the VDC, and publicly executed. Civil unrest ultimately resided afterwards. The only article remaining of the Jester’s legacy was a short diary and an ancient TRI-001-b relic. This relic was passed down for over 800 years before being accidentally discarded in an entire clearance of "defunct" artifacts by proclamation of the VDC.

In 180NVO3 following the successful retaking of power by High Prince Jak Jocob, a being4 from REALM-X happened upon the TRI-001-b relic as well as discarded supplemental material. The being was able to utilize the Item to produce the TRI-001 effect, effectively traveling to The Capital, wherein the Thorn Reach was soon after formed. The introduction of ancient invocations and secret travel has ultimately led to a planetary wide-disruption of economic systems as well as the destabilization of extra-planetary governance.

Under the breakaway Leadership of Lord Kitsuni, The TR seeks to push further, explore farther, and provide richer, the spoils of all 7 knowable REALMS have to offer.
